Easter videos

Justin Taylor's blog is a fast-flowing river of good stuff from all over the internet; below are two videos he's brought my attention to recently.

The first is a presentation about Jesus using clips from The Passion of the Christ, and the audio of a famous piece of preaching by Dr. S. M. Lockridge. Great words, good pictures, and a good soundtrack too made for a great video.

The one below you might want to approach a bit more carefully. It's a video of a lamb being slain by Jews. 1 Corinthians 5:7 says, "Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed." I found myself flinching just watching this, which led me to think: how did my Saviour bear to walk towards His own death for me? If you think there's a good chance that the horror of seeing an animal having its throat slit will overshadow any thoughts of grateful worship, then I advise you not to watch. But if you can watch it and be moved to wonder again at the events of Easter, then here's the link.

Whatever you watch, read, think and pray about this Easter, be amazed at the greatness of Jesus.
