Good Times

Rupert Murdoch may not be everyone's cup of tea (including me) but he runs a pretty decent newspaper. No, not that one, The Times. Saturday's edition was excellent reading in all sorts of ways, here are two of the highlights:

• An interesting history lesson on Afghanistan by Ben Macintyre
• A typically hilarious TV review by Caitlin Moran

The fact that I can provide links for us to to read these pieces only serves to worry me even more about the news that Murdoch plans to start charging users for online newspaper content. As I said, not my cup of tea.
