One of the best ways for me to celebrate turning thirty, as I have just done, has been to remember turning twenty. I can't recall exactly how I celebrated but I'm pretty sure it involved too much drink and a number of other stupid, shallow sins. If I wasn't quite eating pig food I was getting pretty near there. Soon after, God brought me to my senses and being with Him ever since has changed everything. I can't really describe it, except to say that it is wonderful. Which doesn't make for a great post but does make for a great deal of joy.
