3 amazing things about Jesus
In a leaders' prayer meeting this week I was struck by some wonderful truths about Jesus. As the references suggest, I'm sure I'm particularly aware of them right now because I've been reading through the gospel of John. I'd encourage you to have a long think and pray about these incredible truths of grace: let them permeate your mind and spirit.
1. He doesn't just speak true things, He is the truth (John 14:6).
2. We don't just see Him, we see by Him (John 1:9, cf. C.S. Lewis quote).
3. He doesn't just show us how to be saved, He saves us (John 3:17, Hebrews 7:25).
