Darkness and light

Two very different stories about what is happening in Christianity at the moment:

1. In The Independent there is a warning that a new age of persecution may be about to begin.
2. On BBC Radio 4, Phillip Dodd recently presented a programme on the rise and rise of Pentecostalism (500 million and counting). Some of the quotes he and others came out with were amazing, noting how this move of God has outlasted fascism and communism to become, historically, the most successful ideology of the previous century.

As I once heard John Hosier say, "The dark will get darker but the light will get brighter."
